Palm Beach County Election Supervisor: We’re Ready for Safe Voting in August and November

first_imgPalm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Wendy Link told 850 WFTL’s the South Florida Morning Show that voters don’t need to worry about the coronavirus when they show up to cast their ballots in August’s primary or the general election in November. Link says that all social distancing and safety precautions will be taken including wiping down the voting booth between voters. Also, if you are concerned about using the same pen, bring your own black pen to the polling place.Link also says that mail-in ballots can be requested without the need of a reason and there are a lot of safeguards such as signatures and barcodes to prevent fraud.
