The girls opened their playoff round against the Handsworth Royals, beating the Royals 3-0 for their first win of the tournament.North Peace would next square off against the South Delta Sundevils in the quarterfinals, unfortunately losing by a score of 2-0 in sets (25-22, 15-8).The Ooks then took place in another quarterfinals match up, taking on the Georges P. Vanier Secondary, who the Ooks defeated 2-0 (25-16, 26-24).Advertisement The team’s final match took place in the semis, when they took on the Oak Bay High School Breakers. The Ooks ended their tournament on a winning note, defeating Oak Bay 2-0 (25-20, 25-23).The final semi-final victory earned the North Peace girls the 13 ranking provincially in the AAAA division.last_img
