Final Premier League points swing table: most and least improved clubs revealed

first_imgIt’s been a remarkable Premier League season, with plenty of twists ands turns that would have been almost impossible to predict last August.Now the final table is all but settled, the winners and losers are a lot clearer.Or are they? We’ve looked at how many points clubs gained last season compared to this year, to work out the point swing for each of the 17 teams present in the Premier League in that time.With the abandoment of Manchester United v Bournemouth, we still await the Red Devils’ final point swing.Take a look at the slideshow above to see where you club ranks. Joint 8. Newcastle United have a points swing of -2 between this season and last – In the 2014/15 season the Magpies finished with 39 points, but this campaign they only reached 37 points. 17 10. West Bromwich Albion have a points swing of -1 between this season and last – In the 2014/15 season the Baggies finished with 44 points, but this campaign they reached 43 points. 12. Crystal Palace have a points swing of -6 between this season and last – In the 2014/15 season the Eagles finished with 48 points, but this campaign they only reached 42 points. 17. Chelsea have a points swing of -37 between this season and last – the worst in the Premier League!
